SCHOLARSHIPS

Wallan Basketball Inc is pleased to offer the following Basketball Scholarships:

COMMUNITY PARTICIPATION SCHOLARSHIP

This is a confidential scholarship available to anyone wanting to play basketball at any level that finds himself or herself in a time of hardship. Two places will be awarded, one to an existing participant and the second to attract a new participant who otherwise would not be able to join in.

Criteria:

Low economic or disadvantaged situation
Shows a commitment to the sport
Is a good basketball citizen

PATHWAY SCHOLARSHIP

This is available to a Wallan Panthers representative player who is advancing through the BVC pathway.

Criteria:

Consistently meets TEAM values
Displays outstanding work ethic to improve themselves
Has been selected into the BVC pathway

COMMITTEE SCHOLARSHIP

This is available to a player identified as a key Big V prospect that has come through the Wallan junior ranks.

Criteria:

Consistently meets TEAM values
Displays outstanding work ethic to improve themselves
Represents WBI through extra activities around the association and in the community.
